BWINDI GORILLA TREKS
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Gorilla Trekking
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, is one of the best places in the world to experience the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is also home to over 120 other species of mammals and 350 species of birds, making it a prime destination for wildlife enthusiasts. We offer two exciting programs — a short and immersive 3-day trek, or an extended and more explorative 5-day journey.
3-Day Gorilla Trekking Program
- Day 1: Depart Kampala or Entebbe for Bwindi, passing through scenic countryside and equator stopovers. Lunch en route. Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
- Day 2: Early breakfast followed by a briefing at the park headquarters. Embark on an unforgettable gorilla tracking experience, which can take 2–6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family. Return to lodge for rest, dinner, and overnight.
